Balloonify end-user license
This is the commercial license text for the desktop app. It is not legal advice; have counsel review it before taking payment.
Grant
One paid license activates one device at a time. You may move the seat to another computer you control. Each additional concurrent seat is sold at 50% of the then-current list price (€350 per seat when the list price is €699). There is no cap on the number of seats a customer may buy at that price.
The license is perpetual for the major version you bought. It is a one-time purchase, not a rental and not a subscription.
What this release does
The build distributed today runs entirely on your computer. It has no account, no sign-in, no trial clock and no export limit: it does not contact a license service, and it does not stop working on a date.
If a later release introduces activation, that applies to the later release. It does not reach back into the copy already installed on your machine.
Updates
Product updates are included for 24 months from purchase. During that period, new releases of the major version you bought cost nothing further.
After the 24 months
Nothing happens. The version installed on your computer keeps working, indefinitely. It does not expire, it does not degrade, it does not phone home to stay alive, and no feature is switched off. What ends is your entitlement to releases published after that date — not your use of the software you have.
Balloonify contains no kill switch. Nothing in the product is built to disable an installed copy, and no lapse of updates, support or payment will do so.
Update Pass (optional)
If you want releases published after your 24 months, an optional Update Pass extends updates and support for a further 24 months: €199 for the first device, €99 for each additional seat.
The Update Pass buys newer versions and support. It does not keep the software running. The software runs whether or not you buy it.
No mandatory subscription
No monthly subscription exists, and no recurring payment is required to use Balloonify. The license and the Update Pass are both one-time purchases.
Privacy and offline use
Drawings are processed on your computer and are not uploaded by Balloonify. The current build makes no license network call at all.
Should a future release activate against a license service, a signed local receipt keeps a licensed device working for up to 14 days without reaching that service. Such a receipt governs license checks only; its expiry does not disable a version already installed.
Moving the seat
Where a release requires activation, the seat may be moved to another computer you control after email verification, and a further move is available 30 days after the previous one. Contact the address on your invoice if a device becomes unavailable inside that window. The current build requires no activation, so there is nothing to move: install it wherever your license allows.
What this is not
Balloonify is a desktop ballooning engine with AS9102 Form 3 export. It is not a complete FAI/PPAP suite, not validated medical-device software, and not an ITAR-certified cloud.
Refunds
Unused licenses may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if you remove the software. Contact the address on your invoice.
